String 1.17.3 released

String is in the air, and with it, comes another update.

This minor update for String 1.17 adds a few features and fixes, as well as (at last) including the VST 3 version of the effects-only plug-in. The full list of changes are as follows:

  • (feat) Add VST 3 version of the effects-only String plug-in for Linux 64-bit.
  • (fix) macOS tooltips being displayed incorrectly if "Lato" font is installed.
  • (feat) Restrict String to listen to MIDI input on only specified channels.
  • (fix) Various performance improvements and compatibility fixes.
